Emerald Roofing is owned and run by Sean Salmon. The company works out of 307 S. Salem Street, Suite 300, Apex, and has completed more than 2,500 roofs across the North Carolina Triangle.

The model is deliberately simple. We inspect before we quote, we photograph every slope, and we tell homeowners plainly when a roof can be repaired instead of replaced. Our installation crews are in house rather than subcontracted, which is why the person who assessed your roof is still on the job the day it is installed.

That is also why we say no to work. Roughly a third of the roofs we inspect need nothing at all, and we tell those homeowners to call us in three years.

Why Emerald Roofing
Exists At All.

We launched this company to serve Raleigh and the surrounding Triangle communities with honest, dependable roofing and exterior work. That came out of past experience with other roofing companies. We built the company we wanted to have worked for: honest, fairly and transparently priced, and always going to do the right thing regardless of what it cost us.

Emerald Roofing specialises in residential roofing across the Triangle, including repairs and full replacements, inspections, storm damage restoration, siding, gutters and downspouts, and flat roof work. From the beginning the mission has been to bring honesty and trust to the roofing industry, and we get there through honest and transparent communication and pricing, high quality workmanship with premium materials, full service expertise and a customer first approach.

From the start, clients told us they felt comfortable and confident with a clear, transparent process from beginning to end. Many of them went ahead with us because our warranties are the best in the industry.

Manufacturer certification is not a logo. It governs which warranties we are allowed to write.

GAF Certified Contractor: Allows us to register enhanced GAF system warranties where a complete GAF system is installed, rather than material only coverage.
CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster: CertainTeed's highest contractor credential. It requires certified installers on site and it is what lets us write 50 year non prorated manufacturer warranties.
BBB Accredited, A+ rating: Accredited with the Better Business Bureau serving eastern North Carolina.
